About the project
Facades of Anonymity explores the large-scale facades of buildings and their design, questioning whether these exteriors serve aesthetic or structural purposes, or merely cater to bureaucratic uniformity.
I photographed these structures during the day along common city routes, focusing on the interplay between architectural elements like frames, panels and windows. By isolating less common views, I captured the rhythm of changing effects such as color gradation, texture and dimension.
The resulting images invite viewers to contemplate scale, design and the purpose of facades, leaving the function of the exteriors open to interpretation.
